F919SC Degreaser/cleaner is an alkaline heavy-duty cleanser with an emulsifying action for removing heavy soiling, protein, fat and natural oil deposits from hard surfaces.
It also incorporates a wetting agent for effective coverage and a soil suspension agent to facilitate easy removal.
Available in 1 litre and 5 litre bottles.
F919SC should be used on a weekly basis to
remove 'films' harbouring a build-up of micro-organisms that detergent
based cleaning products leave behind.
Hard surfaces in medical and
Pipelines and drains
(e.g. ET Tubes, anaesthetic tubes)
Mechanism of action is not reliant
upon a mechanical brushing/scrubbing action, but interacts chemically
with the organic film to release it from the surface and take it up into
suspension where it can be washed away. The clean surface can then be
F919SC can be safely applied as a wash, or by using a spray or high-pressure equipment, and its low foaming action also make it suitable for use in CIP systems or crate washes. It is effective in both hot and cold water, and is often used to replace hazardous caustic based products.
NOTE: Although from the same manufacturers, Health and Hygiene, F919SC does not have the same properties as the F10 range of products. It is designed to be a degreaser and as such does not disinfect (although the removal of biofilms by this product does aid in making the disinfecting process more efficient). It should also not come into direct contact with users or their animals.
IMPORTANT: F919SC Should not come in contact with animals or users skin and should be washed off. It is recommended that the user wears rubber gloves, and if the skin comes in to contact with the solution it is washed with soap and water and a rehydrating hand cream be applied.
Clear away debris
Wash down the surface/item - ideally with hot water
Immediately apply a solution of F919SC (see below for dilution rates)
After a contact time of approximately 5 minutes, but before the surface dries, vigorously brush off, or use a high pressure washer to clean the surface
On vertical surfaces and those with heavy grease deposits it may be necessary to repeat the process to remove all deposits
The following dilution rates are recommended:
For lightly soiled surfaces add 40ml to 10 litres of clean water (or equivalent to create a 1:250 solution)
For biofilms, oils, and light fat deposits add 100ml to 10 litres of preferably warm to hot water (or equivalent to create a 1:100 solution)
For resistant biofilms and heavy fat deposits add 200ml to 10 litres of hot water (or equivalent to create a 1:50 solution)
A broad spectrum disinfectant, effective against all types of pathogen, without cleaning detergent
The same spectrum of kill as F10SC but with added cleaning detergent
F10SC pre-diluted at 1:250, so can be used straight from the bottle
