F10® Disinfectant Ready to Use

This product is pre-diluted F10®SC.

F10®SC is a disinfectant with a broad spectrum kill of all known types of pathogen for achieving a high level of biosecurity effectively and safely.

It is pre-diluted at 1:250 to create the concentration effective against most bacteria, fungi and viruses, so it is 'ready-to-use'. At these working dilutions it is non-corrosive, non-tainting and non-irritating,  is also chlorine- and aldehyde-free, and can be used in the presence of birds and animals.

It is available in 1 litre 'ready-to-use' bottles with a trigger spray, or 1 litre 'refill' bottles.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

What is F10® Ready to Use used for?

  • Effective and safe general disinfection of all hard surfaces (such as tables, floors and cages)
  • For animal housekeeping procedures (such as the cleaning of food and water bowls and bedding)
  • Can be used in the presence of your animals (as pre-diluted to recommended rates)
  • F10® Ready to Use can be sprayed on and left to disinfect after cleaning to provide additional biosecurity

Note - F10® Ready to Use should be used on surfaces which are already 'clean', but need disinfecting - i.e. remove any visible dirt from the surface before use. For a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning, where a detergent is needed, use F10®SCXD. Also see our video on the difference between F10®SCXD and F10®SC, and when you might choose to use one, rather than the other.

How to use F10® Disinfectant Ready to Use

For safe disinfection, whilst also ensuring the elimination of pathogens:

  • Remove any dirt from the surfaces (pre-clean to optimise disinfection process)
  • Spray or wash the surfaces/object using the Ready-to-Use solution at its existing dilution*
  • Leave to air dry - no need to rinse or wipe off the F10® solution

Note that the Ready to Use is diluted at 1:250 - therefore if a stronger solution (i.e. 1:100 for more resistant pathogens) is required it would be necessary to create a solution by diluting F10®SC or F10®CL.

Which should I choose? CL, SC or Ready to Use?

Whichever you are more comfortable using, as the end result will be the same. Some feel the CL is better for them as you need to be less precise with the measuring (for high level disinfection you would use 20ml in 1 litre of water, whereas you would only use 4ml of SC in 1 litre of water). Whereas others prefer the smaller bottle of the SC. Ready to Use has the convenience of being pre-diluted, so can be used immediately and is at a recommended dilution for some activities - however buying a concentrate, and diluting it yourself, is more cost effective, and in some instances a different dilution rate than the one used in the Ready to Use may be required.
