F10®SCXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser has the same broad spectrum of kill as F10® SC Veterinary Disinfectant but with added detergent to provide a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning and disinfection in routine hygiene applications. It is a soapy liquid with a slight pine fragrance and a green appearance.
At working dilutions it is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-tainting and non-irritating, and is also chlorine- and aldehyde-free.
Available in 100ml, 200ml, 1 litre and 5 litre bottles.

These dilution rates mean that F10® is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.
* 1:250 is recommended for efficiency against most pathogens. If more resistant viruses are known to be present, use at 1:125 (8ml/litre). For general disinfection use at 1:500 (2ml/litre).
F10®SCXD in a less concentrated form (1litre SCXD is the equivalent of 5 litres of CLXD)
A broad spectrum disinfectant, effective against all types of pathogen, without cleaning detergent
F10®SC pre-diluted at 1:250, so can be used straight from the bottle
F10®SCXD is a disinfectant cleanser, and the added detergent means you can clean and disinfect in a single step.
F10®SC is just a disinfectant.
F10®SCXD helps by removing the organic matter allowing the disinfectant to act against the pathogens with less interference.
F10®SC works better on clean surfaces, but has the advantage that it can be left to air dry without leaving a soapy residue.
There are therefore situations where
F10®SC may be more appropriate than the other for the task you are undertaking. More information is available in the adjacent video.
Whichever you are more comfortable using, the resulting disinfection performance will be the same. Some feel the CLXD is better for them as you need to be less precise with the measuring (for high level disinfection you would use 20ml in 1 litre of water, whereas you would only use 4ml of SCXD in 1 litre of water). Whereas others prefer the smaller bottle of the SCXD.
For further information on the difference between SC products and CL products see our video.
