F10®CLXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser has the same broad spectrum of kill as F10®CL Veterinary Disinfectant but with added detergent to provide a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning and disinfection in routine hygiene applications. It is a soapy liquid with a slight pine fragrance and a green appearance.
At working dilutions it is non-corrosive, non-tainting and non-irritating, and is also chlorine- and aldehyde-free.
Available in 5 litre bottles.
The F10®SCXD and F10®CLXD products are chemically the same but CLXD is 5 times more dilute than the SCXD (Super Concentrate). So 5 litres of CLXD is equivalent to 1 litre of SCXD in terms of the amount of disinfection cleansing that it can do.
Use
biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

These dilution rates mean that F10® is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.
* 1:50 is recommended for efficiency against most pathogens. If more resistant viruses are known to be present, use at 1:25 (40ml/litre). For general disinfection use at 1:100 (10ml/litre).
F10®CLXD in a more concentrated form (1litre SCXD is the equivalent of 5 litres of CLXD)
A broad spectrum disinfectant, effective against all types of pathogen, without cleaning detergent
F10®SC pre-diluted at 1:250, so can be used straight from the bottle
F10®CLXD is a disinfectant cleanser, and the added detergent means you can clean and disinfect in a single step.
F10®CL is just a disinfectant.
F10®CLXD helps by removing the organic matter allowing the disinfectant to act against the pathogens with less interference.
F10®CL works better on clean surfaces, but has the advantage that it can be left to air dry without leaving a soapy residue.
There are therefore situations where F10®CLXD or F10®CL may be more appropriate than the other for the task you are undertaking. More information is available in the adjacent video - if it is not displayed please enable cookies, or watch it on YouTube.
Whichever you are more
comfortable using, the resulting disinfection performance will be the same. Some feel the CLXD
is better for them as you need to be less precise with the measuring
(for high level disinfection you would use 20ml in 1 litre of water,
whereas you would only use 4ml of SCXD in 1 litre of water). Whereas others prefer the smaller bottle of the SCXD.
For further information on the difference between SC products and CL products see our video.
