F10®CL is a veterinary disinfectant which achieves a broad spectrum kill of potentially harmful micro-organisms. It is active against bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores, and environmentally effective against the protozoal oocysts of cryptosporidium, coccidia and giardia. It is an excellent product for achieving a high level of biosecurity and can be used in presence of animals when used at recommended concentrations
At working dilutions it is non-corrosive, non-tainting and non-irritating, and is also chlorine- and aldehyde-free.
Available in 5 litre bottles
Note: The F10®SC and
F10®CL products are chemically the same but CL
are 5 times more dilute the SC (Super Concentrate). So 5 litres of CL is
equivalent to 1 litre of SC in terms of the amount of disinfection
cleansing that it can do.
Use
biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

Note - F10®CL should be used on surfaces which are already 'clean', but need disinfecting - i.e. remove any visible dirt from the surface before use. For a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning, where a detergent is needed, use F10®CLXD.
Also see our video on the difference between F10®CLXD and F10®CL, and when you might choose to use one, rather than the other.
These dilution rates mean that F10® is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.
* 1:50 is recommended for efficiency against most pathogens. If more resistant viruses are known to be present, use at 1:25 (40ml/litre) For environmental control of protozoal oocysts use at 1:20 (50ml/litre).
For general disinfection use at 1:100 (10ml/litre).
The same disinfecting properties as
F10®CL, but in a more concentrated form (1litre SC is the equivalent of 5 litres of CL)
F10®SC pre-diluted at 1:250, so can be used straight from the bottle
The same spectrum of kill as F10®CL but with added cleaning detergent
Whichever you are more comfortable using, as the end result will be the same. Some feel the CL is better for them as you need to be less precise with the measuring (for high level disinfection you would use 20ml in 1 litre of water, whereas you would only use 4ml of SC in 1 litre of water). Whereas others prefer the smaller bottle of the SC. Ready to Use has the convenience of being pre-diluted, so can be used immediately and is at a recommended dilution for some activities - however buying a concentrate, and diluting it yourself, is more cost effective, and in some instances a different dilution rate than the one used in the Ready to Use may be required.
